Who I Work With
Real women. Real symptoms. Real solutions.
At Urban Sense Wellness, I work with women who are no longer satisfied with being told their symptoms are “just part of getting older.”
They sense that something has changed — in their energy, their body, or their resilience — and want those changes taken seriously.
The women I work with are thoughtful, capable, and engaged in their health. They’re not looking for quick fixes or reassurance — they’re looking for clarity, understanding, and a way forward that actually makes sense.
This practice is built around a simple principle:
your body is communicating, not failing.
My role is to help translate those signals, identify what’s driving change, and support you with a structured approach that works in real life — not just on paper.
The Women I Work With
You’re likely here because something has shifted — and it no longer feels straightforward.
You may recognise yourself in some of the following patterns:
Your energy is unreliable, even when you’re doing “all the right things”
Your body is changing in ways that don’t respond to your usual strategies
Mood, motivation, or emotional resilience feel harder to access
Sleep is disrupted, often without an obvious reason
Your skin, hair, or digestion no longer behave the way they once did
Symptoms seem disconnected, yet persistent
You’ve been told your tests are “normal,” but you don’t feel normal
Life demands are high — work, family, responsibility — and your health has slipped down the priority list
You want a practitioner who looks at the whole picture, not isolated symptoms
Midlife Isn’t the Problem — It’s the Turning Point
Many of the women I work with are in their late 30s through to mid-60s, navigating the natural transitions that come with perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopausal life. While hormonal change is often part of this phase, it is rarely the only factor influencing how a woman feels.
Midlife often brings earlier patterns into sharper focus. Long-standing issues related to digestion, metabolism, stress load, sleep, skin health, mood, and immune resilience may become more noticeable — not because they are new, but because the body is adapting to cumulative demands over time.
I work with women experiencing a wide range of concerns, including:
Ongoing digestive discomfort, food reactions, or gut imbalance
Metabolic changes such as weight resistance, insulin resistance, and thyroid issues
Stress-related symptoms, burnout, and reduced resilience
Skin concerns that don’t respond to standard approaches
Mood changes, mental fatigue, or reduced cognitive clarity
Nutrient depletion, immune fatigue, or slow recovery
Cycle disruption, post-contraceptive changes, or fertility challenges
What brings women into the clinic is rarely a single issue. More often, it’s the sense that their health has become fragmented and that no one has stepped back to look at the full picture.
Every woman’s story is different. What matters most is taking the time to understand it properly, and working with a practitioner who can connect the dots, prioritise what matters now, and guide you forward with clarity and intent.
Client Types I Often Support
-
These are women who manage demanding roles — professionally, personally, or both — and are used to being capable, reliable, and resilient.
From the outside, everything looks fine. But beneath the surface, energy is inconsistent, sleep is disrupted, and the margin for stress feels increasingly thin. What once felt manageable now requires far more effort.
The women I support in this category are not looking to slow down — they’re looking for strategies that recognise the load they carry and help restore capacity, focus, and resilience in a way that fits real life.
-
Hot flushes, night sweats, mood changes, shifts in weight or body shape — and the feeling that your body is no longer responding the way it used to.
These experiences are real, common, and not something you have to simply push through.
-
When skin concerns don’t respond to topical care alone, it’s often a sign that internal factors need attention. A whole-body approach helps restore skin health from the inside out.
-
You experience regular bloating, discomfort, or digestive unpredictability. You’ve tried adjusting foods, eliminating triggers, and experimenting with probiotics yet symptoms keep returning. You’re wondering if it's your microbiome, hormones, SIBO — or something else.
→ Functional Testing is often part of your care plan, but it starts with an initial consultation
-
You’re open to natural approaches, but you want them grounded in logic and structure. You value clear explanations, thoughtful assessment, and care that makes sense — not trends, vague advice, or guesswork.
You’re ready to feel better, but you want a practitioner who can explain why things are happening and how to address them in a way that respects your body and your lifestyle.
